The Use of Proxy Server is to Hide Your IP Address & Location

Trying to decide whether you want to have your own personal proxy server? Well, the title pretty much sums it up: Hiding your computer connection’s IP Address and Where You Live is the Use of Proxy Server. But why would you want to hide it anyway? Well since you’re here reading this, I would assume that you already have some reasons of your own, but I’ll elaborate a touch to get you started. The most obvious reason would be to hide yourself and your online activities from search engines, websites, governments, schools, employers, internet service providers, and the like. All of these entities use your IP Address to Track & Record everything you do while on the internet. A proxy server, and more specifically, an elite proxy server, allows you to hide the ip from them. It does this by replacing your real ip with the ip of the proxy “server”. The word “proxy” basically just means “subsitute”, so it’s a subsitute computer. A server is a computer too obviously, so we could just call it a proxy “computer”, but “server” is a bit more precise. This whole thing is a lot like hiding the license plate on your car, but easier, and completely legal.

Basically, You use a Proxy Server to Surf the Internet on Your Behalf

, so that you never actually make direct contact with any websites. You connect to this proxy server, and then “it” brings the pages back to your web browser for you. Don’t worry, you won’t notice any difference from the way you surf the web normally, because all of this stuff happens automatically in the background of your browser. You see, the proxy server has it’s own IP Address, so the only thing any websites, search engines, etc., see, is the server’s ip and where the server is located, NOT where YOU are located. In the example photo below, your proxy server is in one city/state, and you are in a different city/state. Now no one knows who you are or where you are, they only see where the proxy server is. This will obviously also prevent search engines from logging and keeping a database of every search term you type into it, because it thinks that some other person in a different city, with a different ip address, actually typed in those search terms, NOT YOU. Pretty wild stuff right? You go off to any website you want, and type in any searches you want, download anything you want, and NO ONE can tell that it was you.

The one other thing to keep in mind here is that you should never be logged into a seach engine account while doing this (gmail for example). That is good advice even if not using proxies. And finally, even though they can’t see who you are or where you are, UNLESS you are using an ELITE proxy server, they can tell that you are making use of proxy server, so be absolutely certain that the proxy server you build is an “elite” proxy, instead of a simple anonymous proxy, or web proxy, or software proxy. Elite proxies send the exact same data packets that residential personal computers send, so to anyone looking, your “elite” proxy appears to be just some random residential home computer, and thus, NOT a server. You don’t have to worry about that here though, we ONLY use the “elite” type of proxies, also sometimes called, “HIGHLY Anonymous proxies”. I can teach you how to build one for yourself if you’re interested; just take a peek at the free pdf cheat sheet, it will give you an exact idea of how easy it is to do, so that you can decide if you think you can do it for yourself. If it looks like more than you want to do, that’s not a problem, I build these for people and businesses every day, so I can set one up for you real quick. — You Are Here: The Use of Proxy Server is to Hide Your IP Address & Location
