Use a Proxy Server to Hide My IP Address
If you need to hide your ip address, and also hide the fact that you’re hiding it, then you need to use a proxy server (an elite proxy server). With a proxy server you use the ip of the proxy, instead of your own ip address. Instead of connecting to websites on the internet directly, you connect to your proxy server first, and then your proxy connects to the website for you. The website only sees the ip and geographic location of the proxy, and never sees your ip or where you live. If it’s an “elite” proxy, then it also hides the fact that you’re using a proxy, because it’s the ONLY type that is un-detectable, it looks exactly like a personal computer connection.

This whole site is filled with pages talking about how to set up a personal elite proxy server of your own, so in this page I’ll focus exclusively on how to use a proxy server, which means I’ll assume that you’ve already setup the proxy and thus, already have your “fake” ip address.
Using it is actually incredibly easy. All you have to do is change one setting in your web browser. All web browsers have a proxy setting which allows you to replace your browser’s default ip with your new proxy ip (the photo below show exactly how to change it). Basically you just type or paste your new proxy ip into a text box in the internet connections area of your browser settings. Then your web browser automatically connects to your proxy server first before it goes to any websites, and thus, now shows the ip and location of the proxy instead of your actual IP and location. When using a proxy, you need to be sure that no one can detect that you’re using one.
The only way to do that is to be sure that the proxy you use is ELITE. That’s not just some random word I’m throwing around by the way, it literally defines the only type of proxy that is 100% completely Un-Detectable. It does that by replacing it’s real identification headers with the identification headers of a personal computer, so it’s completely indistinguishable from an actual personal computer. Some people call it a “Highly Anonymous Proxy” but it works the exact same way regardless of what you call it.
There are all sorts of reasons for using a proxy, and since you’re here reading this, it’s safe to assume that you have some of your own. I’ll name a few though anyway just to be sure we’re on the same page. An elite proxy allows you to hide your ip and geographic location from your internet service provide (ISP), from search engines, from your government, from your school, from your employer/boss, and from all websites. It also prevents all of those intities from tracking & recording your online activities, and also prevents them from blocking you from any websites you want go to. And one of the most important uses, is that it prevents search engines from being able to store all of the searches you type into them. Atually, it still records all those search terms you type in, but they have no idea that it was you that typed them in. To them it looks like someone in a completely different city typed in all those searh terms (btw, if you have an account with the search engine, like an email account, then make sure you are not logged into your account when searching. That’s a good idea whether you’re using a proxy or not).

More Info: Learn How to Set Up Proxy Server of Your Own
OPTION #1:
Standard Version
Use this option to set up as many elite proxy servers as you want to for the rest of your life. It will never become outdated because the script automatically updates itself every time you use it.
OPTION #2:
Advanced Version
Same as option #1 above but also includes instructions for putting multiple ip addresses on the same proxy server. Don't bother with this option if you only need 1 new ip address (most users) but if you want to put lots of different ip addresses all on the same proxy then this is the option for you.
