How to Change Your IP Address
So you want to know How to Change Your IP Address? Well it’s actually pretty easy, but in order to do it, you’ll need to get yourself a new ip to replace your real one. Every computer and every server connected to the internet has it’s own ip. So what you need to do is get access to another computer (a proxy server) so that your web browser will broadcast the proxy server’s ip instead of yours. As mentioned, the “proxy” server will already have it’s own ip, but the part that gets a bit trickier is configuring the proxy server to allow you to connect through it (ie, you need to know how to setup a proxy server) which is exactly why this website exists. That’s what we do here. We show people how to turn cheap remote servers into elite proxy servers, so that you can replace your real ip address with the proxy server’s ip address.
Once you learn how to change your ip address (ie, once you learn how to setup your own proxy server) you’ll never have to worry about websites blocking your ip address, because if they block one ip, you can just set up another one. The remote servers we use here are called virtual private servers (VPS’s). A VPS is just a dedicated server that has been partitioned off into smaller (much much cheaper) sections (the cheapest ones can be rented for less that about $10 bucks a month, and you can cancel a vps account at any time, or even add multiple ip’s to the same vps). If you want ip’s from different cities, you can rent vps’s from different cities, and have multiple ip addresses in multiple cities.
The photo below will give you a better idea how the whole thing works. Basically, instead of connecting to websites directly, you connect to the proxy server first, and then the proxy server goes to the website for you. That way, the only thing they see is the proxy’s ip address and location, and not your ip and location. In the example photo below, if you are in NY and your proxy server is in Chicago, then all the website sees is that someone is connecting from Chicago. And since an “elite” proxy server also hides the fact that it’s a proxy server, all the website sees is that a “personal computer” is connecting from Chicago. That part is equally important when changing your ip address, because if websites see a server connecting to it, they will suspect that it’s a proxy server, and thus, will know that you are hiding your ip. Other types of proxies (like anonymous proxies, web proxies, and software proxies) identify themselves as proxy servers, but an “elite” proxy is the ONLY type of proxy that identifies itself as being a personal computer instead. As a result, we only use elite proxies here.
I’m going to say it one more time just to be clear. If you don’t specifically use an “elite” proxy, then websites will know that you are using a fake ip (which they obviously don’t like). Setting up your own elite proxy server takes no more effort or expense than setting up an anonymous proxy does, so there is no reason to use an anonymous proxy when you can just as easily use an elite proxy instead. In fact, a lot of people have started calling elite proxies, “Highly Anonymous Proxies” exactly for this reason, because not only do they change your ip and geo-location, they also hide the fact that you’re hiding it. Obviously I’m biased here, but I think that’s pretty amazing, which is exactly why I only use this type.
If you really want to change your ip address, don’t let yourself get intimidated by all this, it really is pretty simple to do, and once it’s set up, it all happens in the background of your web browser, so you don’t have to worry about connecting here or connecting there. All modern web browsers have a proxy setting where you can change your default ip to the proxy’s ip. The “More Info” link below has a screen shot showing exactly how to change the proxy settings in your browser. Plus if you don’t want to set up proxy server yourself, you could always hire someone that already knows how, to do it for you (hint hint).
— You Are Here: How to Change Your IP Address

OPTION #1:
Standard Version
Use this option to set up as many elite proxy servers as you want to for the rest of your life. It will never become outdated because the script automatically updates itself every time you use it.
OPTION #2:
Advanced Version
Same as option #1 above but also includes instructions for putting multiple ip addresses on the same proxy server. Don't bother with this option if you only need 1 new ip address (most users) but if you want to put lots of different ip addresses all on the same proxy then this is the option for you.
