High Anonymous Elite Proxy Build Your Own Highly Anonymous Elite Proxies

Setting up your own personal high anonymous elite proxy may seem a bit complex, but it’s actually pretty cheap, quick & simple, if the elite proxy script is already pre-written for you (hint, hint). A bare-bones unmanaged virtual private server (vps) will fit the bill nicely for the server part of it (typically less than about 10 bucks/month for the hosting), so then all you have to do is paste in the commands to call up the elite proxy script. Squid has a great little high anonymous elite proxy setup, so we use that on an unmanaged linux vps, running ubuntu operating system. That’s a pretty basic setup that most vps hosts should have, but I still get a lot of email from windows & mac users who get nervous when they hear that the proxy is set up on ubuntu, because they think that a high anonymous proxy set up on a vps running ubuntu OS won’t be compatible with their windows pc or mac. This is very very far from being a problem, because the operating system that the high anonymous elite proxy is sitting on, has absolutely zero effect on the operating system of the computer connecting to it. If that actually was a problem, you also wouldn’t be able to visit any websites sitting on web servers using a different operating system than yours.

So anyway, squid has a great little proxy setup we use to create the high anonymous elite proxy. Making it a high anonymous elite proxy is a simple matter of adjusting a bunch of settings in the squid.conf file (ie, squid’s configuration file), but you don’t need to worry about that anyway because I’ve already pre-configured the squid.conf file to operate as a high anonymous elite proxy, so all you’ll need to do is call up the file (and some other scripts I’ve included) by typing (pasting) a few commands into the ssh client (link included) to call up the scripts. It works out to be about 8 commands, but if you want to have multiple ip addresses on the same proxy server, add one extra line of code for each extra ip address.

For example, if you want to add 10 extra ips onto the same elite proxy server, then add 10 extra commands to paste in onto that original 8 ount, and thus about 18 (but, as stated, if you’re going to be setting up a bunch of these highly anonymous elite proxies, or putting multiple ip’s on them, you can just paste the commands in anyway, so that shouldn’t even matter much). Plus you’ll need to type in a password for each ip address, and also plug those same ip’s into the squid.conf file, so there is a small amount of typing/pasting, but no actual thinking, or skills needed. In fact the most difficult part is probably just getting used to the fact that you have to use the arrow keys on your keyboard to move around instead of being able to use your mouse. — You Are Here: High Anonymous Elite Proxy — Build Your Own High Anonymous Elite Proxies
