Get My IP Address & Hide My IP Address
As you can imagine, this is quite a common question around here: “How do I Get My IP Address & then Hide it” Both are pretty easy to accomplish, but we’ll start with the first half of that question because showing you your ip address takes no more effort than including one small line of code into my page source (that will extract your ip directly from your web browser). Question: My IP Address is? Answer: 69.207.170.84 Alternately, every page on this site shows your ip right up there in bright yellow (in the top right corner of every page).
Your web browser carries your ip around with it to every website you visit. So all I have to do is ask your browser to tell me what it is, and it does so automatically. I don’t have to ask nicely. I don’t have to say pretty please, I don’t even have to buy your browser dinner. It just gives it to me, no questions asked. But not just to me. It gives it to anyone and everyone that asks. If it didn’t, then I’d be out of business, because most people get a little upset when they finally find this out for the first time, and then want to know how to shut the browser up (how to stop your browser from broadcasting your ip). Well the bad news is, you cannot shut your browser up. If you stopped your browser from shouting out your ip, then no websites would let you connect to them. So what’s the solution? Give them a fake ip of course.
How do I Get a Fake IP Address?
In order to get yourself a fake ip, you just need to connect to another computer (that has it’s own ip) before you connect to the websites you want to visit. It’s called a “proxy computer” or “proxy server”. Don’t let that scare you off though, it’s really easy, and your web browser will do all the connecting for you, so all you have to do is set it up once and then your browser will do it for you automatically after that. All modern web browsers have a setting that allows you to plug in a private ip address instead of the one your ISP gave you (see photo below). The only part that’s a little tricky is actually acquiring the private “fake” ip address to plug into your browser. But again, no worries, that’s all we do here.
Every device connected to the internet has it’s own ip, so the way to hide your real ip, is to use a different one instead. No one is going to just let you “borrow” their ip, so basically, it boils down to you having to rent a private ip address. There are a few different ways to accomplish this. You can rent a remote server for about $10 bucks/month and then configure it to allow you to connect through it with an elite proxy server script (that’s what my ebook tutorial shows you step by step how to do). Or you can rent one of those remote servers (as before) but this time hire someone to configure it for you.
Summary: You can “Get My IP Address” by going to a website willing to show it to you. And then to hide it, you need to set up proxy server of your own (ie, get yourself a private ip) on a remote machine (a virtual private server, VPS) and configure it to allow you to connect through it, instead of using your own. Once the vps is configured to allow you to use it’s ip address instead of your own ip, it’s then called an “elite proxy server”. — You Are Here: Get My IP Address & Hide My IP Address

OPTION #1:
Standard Version
Use this option to set up as many elite proxy servers as you want to for the rest of your life. It will never become outdated because the script automatically updates itself every time you use it.
OPTION #2:
Advanced Version
Same as option #1 above but also includes instructions for putting multiple ip addresses on the same proxy server. Don't bother with this option if you only need 1 new ip address (most users) but if you want to put lots of different ip addresses all on the same proxy then this is the option for you.
